COMMITTEES
The goal of the World Federation of Therapeutic Communities (WFTC) is to join together in a worldwide association of sharing, understanding and cooperation within the global TC Movement as well as to widen recognition and acceptance of the Therapeutic Community and the Therapeutic Community approach among health organizations and health delivery systems of international and national bodies.

Communications Committee
The Communications Committee is responsible for maintaining communication channels and platforms for the organization, such as online social media, WFTC’s website, and disseminating an electronic newsletter, developing marketing materials to support organizational awareness and facilitating online events between WFTC, TC members, and allied groups and entities.

International Affairs Committee
The International Affairs Committee is responsible for coordinating international affairs on behalf of the organization and providing that WFTC is represented in various international fora. It also serves as a hub for regional federations, ensuring optimal global participation and representation within the WFTC.

Chair: Robert Budsock, Integrity House (USA)

The Scientific Committee is responsible for facilitating production of WFTC scientific work, including research and the annual World Social Report, and to coordinate relevant efforts. The Committee is also working to establish a WFTC Journal, as well as a TC-focused master’s degree program in partnership with the University of Cyprus.
