WE HELP OURSELVES (WHOS) celebrates 50 years of service to the community.

WE HELP OURSELVES (WHOS) [...] celebrates 50 years of service to the community. In 1972 WHOS was established as the first Alcohol and other Drug (AOD) Residential Therapeutic Community service in Australia and some years later, was one of the first AOD residential non-government organisations (NGO) to receive government funding assistance in New South Wales. This year is not only a significant milestone for WHOS, but also recognition for the Federal Government, NSW, Queensland and Local Governments that have supported WHOS over the decades.

Much of what WHOS has achieved in its 50 years of service to the community could not have been done without the extraordinary generosity of so many people. The events held recently at the WHOS Lilyfield campus also celebrated the many philanthropic bodies, community organisations and business corporations that have supported WHOS over this same period.
